13 March 2025, between the Department of Prisons Sindh and the Institute of Business Management (IoBM). The signing ceremony took place at the Inspectorate General Sindh Prisons & Correctional Services, Muslimabad, Karachi. The MoU was formally signed by IG Prisons Sindh, Qazi Nazir Ahmed, and Rector IoBM, Dr. Tariq Soomro, representing their respective institutions.

This strategic partnership aims to create internship and research opportunities for over 200 students annually within the Department of Prisons Sindh. In return, IoBM will extend its expertise in information technology, offering training programs for inmates across Sindh prisons, assisting in the establishment of small-scale industrial units, and providing professional development training for prison staff, in line with modern correctional standards.
